Privacy Policy

Who we are

pAIneal Outlet is an individual publisher operating under the pAIneal Outlet name. This policy explains how information is handled when you use painealoutlet.com, its reader pages, our signup offers, or direct digital-product services. Contact home@painealoutlet.com about privacy.

Information you provide

We receive your email address and any name or other information you provide when you join a reader or launch list, request a preview or review copy, or contact support. Support correspondence may include product details and information about access problems. Please do not send payment-card numbers, passwords, or other unnecessary sensitive information by email.

Orders and Stripe payments

When direct sales become available, Stripe will process payments through Stripe Checkout. Order information may include your name, email address, billing information needed for payment or tax, product purchased, amount, currency, order or payment reference, payment status, and refund records. We use order information to confirm payments, provide access, respond to support requests, and maintain relevant transaction records.

Payment-card information is submitted to Stripe, not stored by this website. Stripe may make limited payment information, such as card brand and last four digits, available to us for order support. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy for its processing, fraud-prevention, and cookie practices. Direct audiobook purchasing and delivery are not currently enabled.

Previews and digital delivery

StoryOrigin handles linked preview/signup and review-copy requests. If a product or offer uses StoryOrigin for delivery, information you provide there is processed under StoryOrigin’s Privacy Policy. We may receive the contact and request information needed to administer the offer and assist you. Future paid digital delivery will be described in the product offer; this policy does not mean paid audiobook delivery is already available.

Email subscriptions and service messages

EmailOctopus hosts the audiobook launch-list form embedded on the book page and supports the reader-list workflow. If you choose to subscribe, your email address and information submitted through the signup process are used to send the updates you requested. See EmailOctopus’s Privacy Policy for its service and email-engagement processing.

Marketing subscriptions require separate consent. Buying a product does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or contact support. Order confirmations, access instructions, refund information, and responses to support requests are transactional messages; these are separate from optional marketing subscriptions.

Website usage, cookies, and analytics

Netlify hosts this website. Requests to the hosting service and external forms may include technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, requested page, and request time, as needed to serve and protect those services. See Netlify’s Privacy Policy.

The current site code does not install a separate website analytics or advertising tracker. Embedded signup forms and third-party sites you visit may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. The policy pages themselves do not embed signup forms or Stripe Checkout. Browser settings can limit cookies, although doing so may affect third-party forms or services. We will update this policy if new tracking services are introduced.

How information is used and shared

Information is used to provide requested offers, process orders when available, deliver digital products, manage consented subscriptions, address support and privacy requests, and meet applicable recordkeeping or legal obligations. Relevant information is shared with service providers for the functions described above, including hosting, payments, signup, email, and delivery. Support emails are also handled by the email services used to send and receive them.

Third-party providers may process information in countries other than your own and have their own privacy responsibilities. External retailers and websites, including Amazon and linked social platforms, govern purchases and interactions on their services under their own policies. We may disclose information where required by applicable law or needed to address fraud or protect lawful rights.

Retention and security

Retention depends on why information was collected, including administering subscriptions, resolving support requests, providing order access, and meeting applicable tax, accounting, or other legal requirements. There is no single stated retention period for all records; provider retention practices also apply. You can ask about or request deletion of information associated with your email address, subject to records that must be retained under applicable law.

This website uses HTTPS, and payment processing is handled by Stripe. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Please keep access instructions private and avoid sending sensitive payment information to customer support.

Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent for optional marketing. You may also have the right to complain to the relevant privacy authority. Not every right applies in every location.

Send requests to home@painealoutlet.com, identifying the email address or order involved and what you are requesting. We may ask for information needed to verify the request and protect another person’s data. Requests will be handled under applicable law. Withdrawing marketing consent does not prevent necessary order or support communications.

Policy updates and contact

Changes to this policy will be posted here with an updated date. For questions about information held by pAIneal Outlet, email home@painealoutlet.com.
